THE 10 central Victorian IGA stores -Eaglehawk, Heathcote, Inglewood,
Kangaroo Flat, Long Gully, Maiden Gully, Maryborough, Rochester, Strathfieldsaye, Strath Village - band together to support the local communities which support them.
Graham Gamble says the real point of difference with IGA is definitely the
community aspect. “We proudly support the people, community groups and sporting clubs
who support us through a range of programs and initiatives including
vouchers and gifts,” he says. “A lot of these clubs rely on financial
support from the business community so we’ve got a responsibility to help
ensure their continued operation.
Each IGA in the central Victorian group feels a responsibility for their
local communities, and all actively work with these groups to raise much
needed funds.”
