food products - and, according to IGA Marketing Merchandise Manager Graham Gamble,
that’s something we can all be proud of.
Over the years, IGA has thrown its support behind many of our local suppliers, helping to build
brand names and secure jobs within the region. “We have created great alliances with our local suppliers, and all the central Victorian IGA stores feel a strong commitment to continuing
these relationships well into the future,” Graham says.
“We recognise just how important supporting these businesses is to our local industries and economy, but that’s certainly not the main
reason we stock these products. “We’re here to provide quality products to our customers, so
first and foremost, that’s what we source - quality products which are second to none.
“And that’s the great thing about these relationships. All our local suppliers are competing on
a national stage, pitting the quality and value of their
products against other companies, and coming out on top.”
All IGA stores proudly display products from central Victorian suppliers so it’s easy to show your
support and shop locally. “It’s a win-win relationship,” Graham says. “Our suppliers receive business support and our customers have easy access to a wide range of quality products.”
